i am planning to go to PNG this summer for an internship

| hmmm..... sleeping in 'til 10:30 is kinda nice. Going to eat and hang with Rosa for the day is too. I must say...I like spending quality time with people. Shallow friendships can be tiring, even though you dont put in any real effort- its the fact that you are investing lots of time here and there that doesnt mean anything to you or them. How sad- thats why quality time is so nice. 
Oh yeah, something I thought was funny..because its mostly true.

| well, week 3 was interesting. for so many reasons. such a good cabin with really sweet girls- a few that really opened up to me. had issues and hang ups with some of the counselors.. which were resolved. I still need to work on some things of course. some really amazing people left this week- Margot being one of them, another someone I wish I had gotten to know better. i was told i would be a teen counselor next week!!! which is totally exciting. going to baltimore tonight, d.c. tomorrow, seeing pirates on monday. excited about a lot of stuff but I know several people are hurting right now. so prayer. lots of people need it and sorry this post was so vague...but thats how I want to keep it. peace out. | | |
| Week one is done. Long, yet wonderful... lots of good memories. Most of them would be better told than written on a xanga. But I did hear about a pretty funny quote from a camper. Well, there are lots of jellyfish this time of year in the river and the bay, and one washed up on shore and this kid goes "Eww! Look at all those testicles!!" ....good times. | | |
